Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Stream Reveals Firebreak Specialist, Redwood Map

Gamers get a close look at the power of the new character
Video game developer Treyarch and publisher Activision are entering the final stretch of development for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and they are aiming to show fans of the series a range of new elements that are part of the coming first-person shooter.

A new live stream gives gamers a look at the ninth Specialist that gamers will be able to use, called Firebreak, including his unique weapon and the character power that he will be able to deploy in order to take out enemies.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer will also include the Redwood multiplayer map, which is designed to once again encourage players to use their new movement powers in order to surprise enemies and gain a significant advantage during combat.

More reveals linked to the shooter will be delivered every Friday from now until launch.

The Specialists are one of the new features that Treyarch is introducing to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, well-rounded characters with unique combat profiles, offering enough variety that each player can decide on the favorite that he wants to use on the long-term.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has also received post-beta tweaks
David Vonderhaar, the design director working on the shooter, has explained that a wide range of changes are being made to the game based on the data gathered and the feedback offered by the players during the beta period.

Rejack counts as a kill, and there are more tweaks to the weapons that will be part of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

The title will also feature a single-player campaign that will take place in 2065 and will focus on the way humanity is affected by tech advantages that turn soldiers into weapons.

Treyarch is also offering a Shadows of Evil cooperative campaign that will take fans to the 1940s, giving them a chance to take out a wide variety of zombies using a cast of unique characters.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be launched on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 and gamers can also get older console versions of the shooter although they will not feature the single-player campaign because of technical limitations.
