Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Xbox One and PC Beta Extended Until Monday, August 31 at 10 PM\

The level cap has also been boosted to 49
Video game developer Treyarch and publisher Activision are announcing that the beta testing period for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on the Xbox One and the PC is being extended until Monday, August 31 at 10 PM Pacific Standard Time.

The information comes from an official Twitter message from the account of the franchise that also explains that the level cap has been increased to 49 in order to allow dedicated players to make their characters more capable for the remaining period.

Earlier during the beta period the two companies also announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was being offered to all gamers on the two platforms and that more content was being added in order to keep them playing.

The strategy is the same that was used for the PlayStation 4 testing period during the previous weekend.

Some gamers, especially on the Xbox One, are annoyed with the fact that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta was only prolonged for one day, given that they were unable to redeem their codes quickly and were forced to wait while Microsoft and Activision delivered a solution.

The involved companies seem uninterested in delivering a further extension for the testing period.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will revolutonize the multiplayer of the series
Treyarch has already said that it has received a lot of important feedback from the beta period on the PlayStation 4, which was played by millions of gamers and set records.

The multiplayer of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is designed to tweak a lot of the mechanics that fans are familiar with.

The new title will focus more on movement, allowing characters to use jumps and boosts to move faster across the level, and on tactical thinking.

The game is also offering a classic single player campaign and a undead powered mode called Shadows of Evil, which will focus on cooperative action and will take place in the 40s noir world.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be out on the PC, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and older home consoles, with some features missing, on November 6.

The level cap has been raised to 49 in the #BO3Beta, which officially comes to a close Monday, August 31 at 10PM PST. pic.twitter.com/zdFbubBjTy — Call of Duty (@CallofDuty) August 30, 2015
