The data consulting firm Cambridge Analytica, which harvested as many as 87 million Facebook users' personal data, also could have accessed the private inbox messages of some of those affected. Facebook slipped this previously undisclosed detail into the notifications that began appearing at the top of News Feeds on Monday. These alerts let users know whether they or their friends had downloaded a personality quiz app called This Is Your Digital Life, which would have caused their data to be collected and potentially passed on to Cambridge Analytica

I'm pretty sure they advertised that their chat is end to end encrypted, what else are they lying to us about?
Everything.

Including "lying about not lying to us about things they have lied about to us they allegedly have or have not lied to us about even though they know they lied to us about lying to us that they did not lie to us when they uncovered how they lied to us":ROFLMAO:

But there is also a very significant fact: Facebook says that he believes that “most of the people on Facebook may have suffered the scraping of their public profile”. The scraping is the systematic collection of information by third parties through automated systems: this means that the public data entered in Facebook have also been collected from other organisations, and this has happened for at least a billion users.
The tip of the iceberg... I don't know but at this point, actually FB is solid garbage!
