Yes I have managed to find a malicious web site that's installed a script threatening all sorts of bogus stuff

Fines and imprisonment

Second message the says

Your borwser has been blocked

12 hours to pay
£100 on Paysafe card

Threatens to delete all files data games docs etc.

Have attempted:

Reboot

System reboot (Power and Home button at same time)

About to do a restore via iTunes in PC.

Do you have any thoughts folks?

This "police" notification is a scam and under no circumstance should you send any money to these cyber criminals.

Can you please try these steps:

1. Launch the Settings app from the Home screen of your iPad.
   
   
2. Scroll down and tap on Safari
   
   
3. Now scroll all the way to the bottom and tap on Advanced.
   
   
4. Tap on Website Data.
   
   
5. Scroll to the bottom again and tap on Remove All Website Data.
   
   
6. Confirm one more time you’d like to delete all data.
