CyberGhost takes care of your unmistakable IP address and changes it from a license plate, which can clearly identify you to every website operator as well as to your own provider, to just a piece of metal you share with thousands of other Internet users. No spying eye will be able to tell you from surfers, who hit the Internet at the same time as you: You are anonymized! Or cyberghosted, like we use to say.

What’s new in Version 5:

Simplified and faster installation
Completely new revised interface, which allows you to establish a connection with just one click
Changed manual selection based on country or server/IP address
Search function for countries, servers and IPs
Map representation of the current and of the simulated location with intuitive animation
E-Mail Server in Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird and Windows Mail are now automatically set into the exception list when you first start
Less annoying messages and a review of the complete handling
Improved repair functions and detection of outdated or overwritten OpenVPN drivers
Display of connected users per server directly in the software
Display of active servers and total users directly in the software
Improved support functions, with which you no longer need to post a connection log or a bug report in the forum, but these are sent directly to the support
More significant error messages
Faster establishment of connection
Customizable MTU of the connection directly in the settings
Automatically adjust of the MTU at connection problems
New update system, which installs automatically updates of the software
Support of various Proxies
DNS-leak protection
New security functions through an own Firewall technique (available with Windows Vista and higher):
A more secure establishment of connection: an own Firewall technique ensures now that while the connection is establishing, all active connections are disconnected and therefore no program or browser is left unprotected by the VPN connection
Secure Reconnect: when a connection is lost, a new connection will be automatically established. During the reestablishment, all other programs are disabled and only after a successful establishment they are again enabled
A more secure connection loss: if the connection cannot be restored, then the active Internet connection is interrupted and released again only after a confirmation of the appropriate message
Detection of IPV6: IPV6 connections are now automatically blocked

I'm thinking of getting this but there are a few things I do not understand. The limited number of servers / countries, what does that mean to me, the end user. Even at the upper level there seems to be a lot of room for other countries & servers. Can anyone enlighten me a little further?
