i recently began playing the MMO black desert online, i noticed that 98% of my 8 gigabytes of ram would get gobbled up, the game locks in around 4-5 gigs, and then DLLHost.exe eats up what ever else is available.
if i end process on DLLHost.exe, it has no immediate effect on the game, but around five minutes later the game crashes to desktop, with no error message of any kind, basically the process just ends abruptly
i stumbled across a person with a very similar problem, SOLVED - COM Surrogate problem and dllhost.exe overload
the only difference is in my case the dllhost.exe does not copy itself, i only have one dllhost.exe that is using a massive amount of ram.
