Emsisoft is one of the bests in terms of protection! I bet many will agree! I have used this for two whole years from version 7 to 8.

I agree. I've used kaspersky since forever but recently tried Emsisoft AM because all those great reviews.
Now I'm thinking about switching to emsisoft. Couldn't believe how it's light on system and no need to say anything about protection.

Can't wait for EIS final version. It will be worth every euro.

Actually I have Webroot now, taking advantage of the 6-month extended trial.

Is EIS really light? The last version that I tried it (8.1), it was average on my low-end slow netbook. How much is RAM and CPU usage when idle? I am now downloading it. It is made to be compatible with other AV so it will work with Webroot.

Don't know about v8.1. I think you need to install emsisoft AM and their firewall separately.
I have one stone-age computer as well and as I've seen, emsisoft when the pc is idle uses between 15-40 MB of ram with almost no impact on CPU no matter what I'm doing on the Internet.
And get rid of that webroot, you have so many better security products :)

Tell me, what do you do not want about webroot? Is it poor in protection?
