VideoLAN is getting ready to launch the final version of their Windows 8 port of VLC, so developers around the world looking to earn some easy money have only a few days left to do it.
A new app called VLC for Windows 8.1 has landed in the store this morning, trying to trick people into believing that this is the official VLC app.
The only problem is that VideoLAN will offer their original app for free, while this one costs $9.99 (€7.5) and doesn’t seem to be providing too many features on Windows 8 and RT.
