As Mozilla launched the first Firefox 5 Aurora testing Build, the company also made public the release deadlines of Firefox 4.0’s successor as well as of future iterations of the open source browser.
Firefox 5 is now available for download through the Aurora Channel, and is the first version of Firefox to make its debut through this new Channel introduced as Mozilla moved to accelerate dramatically the release pace of new iterations.
According to the open source browser vendor, Firefox 5, Firefox 6 and Firefox 7 will all be wrapped up and offered to end users in 2011.
