I believe it's a good idea to moderate the first 5 threads new members create, and not display them publicly until they have been manually approved. Therefore we can filter the same thread being created again and again: "What's the best antivirus?". It's getting a little bit annoying seeing people join and ask that question even before they create a security config.

Am I that wrong?

There is already "Similar Threads" feature to guide the new poster with the content... but probably many users don't check it while creating their new content :unsure:
Definitely they don't... There's some evil force sending users to ask for the best antivirus here, and we must fight it back!

I am against moderation. Moderation should only be used unless absolutely needed. The more moderation in place the more dead the forum will be. Regarding the "best anti virus" it keeps changing, there is nothing wrong people asking it occasionally. People here can read and share their new opinions of AVs each time.

Sure, they can comment on those existing threads about the new trending software, instead of spamming the forums with new threads.
