If you are using Windows 10 with build in security you have probably encountered an annoying notification that your PC haven't been scanned for a while and therefore you are Potentially Unprotected. Even if you already scanned your computer yesterday for example Windows Defender will notify you about this.

If a third-party program has accidentally deleted one or more log files that Windows Defender uses to verify if a scan has been done or not, then too it will flash this warning. This situation usually arises when programs like CCleaner have been used to clean out PC junk files.

So all you need to do is to open CCleaner ==> Cleaner ==> Applications and under Utilities untick "Windows Defender". That way CCleaner will not clean the scan logs Windows Defender created.
