Germany’s BSI federal cyber agency said on Wednesday it had no evidence to back media reports that Russian hackers used Kaspersky Lab antivirus software to spy on U.S. authorities.

“There are no plans to warn against the use of Kaspersky products since the BSI has no evidence for misconduct by the company or weaknesses in its software,” BSI said in an emailed response to questions about the latest media reports.

“The BSI has no indications at this time that the process occurred as described in the media.”

And here:
No ban for lobbyist-backed Russian anti-virus company
Who can you trust?
Dr David Glance, Director of the UWA Centre for Software Practice, said the Government's stance was reasonable given none of the allegations against Kaspersky have been proven.

"Banning Kaspersky undermines the general digital economy," he said.

The Equation Group authors must be very upset!!!:)
Kaspersky is in effect being blamed for doing it's job!!!

There is no safety from people getting info if they want it, why does it really matter? I just wish them to leave me more bandwidth than i have atm, windows is dragging like a muffler on the highway, while the bit miners just shave a little off the hard to see places, LOL

as for it being the amiricans, you got the wrong ones most of them barely know how to turn on the pc much less write intricate code to sabatoge a hillary clintons email or whatever else is being done. it's the ones who make the software that you need worry about they know how to screw everyone and be the victor in that war.
