Microsoft has been testing a new One Drive Flyout menu and although not released to everyone with a registry tweak you can try it out for yourself.
*Warning: This involves editing the registry. If you are unsure please do not do this.
  1. Press the Windows Key + R to open the "Run" dialog
  2. Enter "Regedit.exe" (no quotation marks)
  3. Navigate to Computer > HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > OneDrive
  4. After clicking OneDrive key within the editor, right-click in an empty space in the right-hand pane.
  5. Click on New then "DWORD (32-bit value)" and name the new value "TeamSiteSyncPreview" (no quotation marks)
  6. Double click the newly created DWORD value and change the value from "0" to "1"
  7. Exit the Registry Editor.
When finished if you do not see it then restart your computer

Thanks for sharing this, I'm gonna test it out and see how it behaves on my system. At first glance from your screenshot I think it looks pretty clean and neat! :)
I love it! One of the many new features that hopefully will be in the the big update in March 2017.
Very similar to the Dropbox menu.
