Windows 8 brought not only the OS itself but the hardware specifications which phasing out the old BIOS firmware version.

Where simple change for Boot Priority is done already, buta bit complications as Secure Boot implemented for designed protection on Windows 8 and lock down of any other OS to be installed.

Steps (F2 for UEFI hardware based laptops to enter for a setup)

When dealing to use like Linux and other OS.

1) As usual, you may change the Boot Priority on where the 3rd party OS located.

2) Disable Secure boot and select EFI Boot only. (This will not enter Windows 8 directly)

3) Save the changes.

Steps (For revert settings)

1) Press F2 on the setup and find from the last tab of BIOS called Restore Default Settings/Default Settings.

2) Then save the changes.

This will prevent BIOS on Windows 8 for Non Page Area problem[/i]

It's only if you use Linux or Other OS, otherwise it's recommended to keep Secure Boot enabled?

In my understanding, Secure boot is intended for Windows 8 only in order to work properly and disabled when dealing other OS as still uses older boot.
