Troubleshoot How to recover deleted pictures from Windows 10 PC

Please can anybody help me in recovering back my pictures of my holidays. I don't know how all pictures got deleted after inserting my SD card in my Windows 10 computer. Also, I searched on google but they are suggesting paid software, please tell me some good free ways to recover them.

I would suggest you to try to use SD card in some other computer or laptop because many times it does not detect it properly. But if you are sure that the pictures are deleted then use the Windows File Recovery from Microsoft but it is a command line program, so use it carefully. Alternatively, you can use this guide which uses a free third-party software for recovering deleted photos from Windows 10.
