How-to: Workstation VMs to use host internet at different places

Hi all,

Apologies as I'm not good with networking.
Below is what i intend to setup on my laptop for testing, and i'm confused how should i configure my VM Workstation's networking or maybe my host's network connection (need bridge or not etc) in order to get my VMs always able to access internet be it at home or office:
