Facebook added an option back in January to run all of a user's sessions with HTTPS, protecting those users from snooping on open networks. But we noted that there were serious weaknesses in the implementation.

Facebook has addressed at least one of them. Now when you launch an app which cannot run in HTTPS, Facebook first warns you before turning it off.

It's great to see that Facebook is actually improving on security but i would never trust them with my privacy. Hence why i don't have one Texting, E-mail, Phone, is just enough for me.
