I noticed on start menu IE rightclick an option to uninstall. Does it really gets uninstalled? Any any probs on system due to uninstalling it?

Anyone uninstalled it?

I've just tested it for you.

By selecting the Uninstall option from the right click menu, it will open the Control Panel on 'Uninstall or change a program'. The same will happen if you right click and select Uninstall for other programs you search for.

So to uninstall IE you have to go to turn on/off windows features, right?

@yesnoo : The one mentioned on your first post is uninstall updates and not the program itself as its bind on OS already.

IE is pointless when you have Edge.

Edge and all apps in Win10 run under Appcontainer (a kind of restriction-based sandbox "a la Chrome")

I would like to use Edge but it doesn't give me the option to save downloads i.e it directly saves downloads in the default directory.
