Q&A IObit Malware Fighter with other antiviruses

    Their description page says that it's compatible with other antiviruses. Has anyone tested it if it's really the case?

    It's only compatible with other antiviruses when you're not using the Bitdefender engine (which is only included in the paid version). Without Bitdefender, it will be compatible with any antiviruses, but will only use its own signatures which don't detect much compared to alternatives such as Malwarebytes or Zemana.

  3. It will work with other AVs as mentioned but it really isn't that great compared to other programs like:

    Zemana Anti-Malware or Anti-Logger
    MalwareBytes Anti-Malware

    I've used it with the Bitdefender engine enabled without having any compatibility problems.

    Yes Iobit Malware Fighter is considered as companion AV, however it does not make sense since the performance was below mediocre.

    Something is wrong on their cloud functionality, look at Immunet Protect instead; it does perform well as a companion AV.

    Adding like Bitdefender engine solves the worst performance but it leaves ineffective on the other hand.
