I'm aiming to achieve a security configuration which doesn't use (or at the very least makes minimal use of) third-party applications. More specifically I want to avoid any additional proprietary software, especially proprietary software which collects data to share/sell. I'm totally open to recommendations for how I can improve my security configuration, just keep in mind that I value software freedom and privacy, and I'm primarily looking to only add on privacy-respecting FOSS applications.

Then uninstall Windows 10 directly

In Device recovery & backup, You may install Macrium Reflect Free.

Heh, fair point. Although in my defense, there are certain applications I need to use which aren't available or optimized for Linux- which I why I still use Windows on my main PC. I'll look into adding Macrium Reflect though!
