Now that Windows 10 has shipped and is reportedly running on 50 million devices, attention will no doubt turn to the successor to Windows 10, dubbed Redstone; but before that, Threshold Wave 2 is expected to arrive by October.

We know that Windows 10 Mobile and Windows Server 2016 has already moved to the Threshold 2 (TH2) branch, and the next builds of Windows 10 will also make that jump as it prepares to enter the Insider channels for testing.

What is interesting to note, is that the Windows Feedback app has been updated to remove all feedback older than two weeks, possibly preparing it for a build newer than Windows 10 RTM (or build 10240). Microsoft has not announced these changes and Gabe Aul, spokesperson for Windows Insiders, who returned from vacation on Friday has not mentioned anything on Twitter either.

The next Service Release for Windows 10 is only around two months away, so it's not a stretch to assume that a new Insider build could be landing very soon. For those wondering, the update wave will not change the branding to Windows 10.1, it will remain Windows 10.
