Kaspersky always wants to restart after installing signature updates?

I've noticed this problem starting about 2/3 weeks ago but now it is getting quite annoying. Is there a fix for this?

As a first measure open your Kaspersky 2016 Interface and go to SETTINGS--->ADITIONAL--->UPDATE

Please check that your "Select Update Sources" is configured this way:

Would you mind specifying what version of Kaspersky 2016 you've got?

It's 2016MR1 16.0.1.445b. But I'll just have to live with it for now. A restart a day will keep the viruses away.
