In the latest version of Chrome 72, I installed the Kaspersky Browser Extension, and it does not seem to work. See images below.

It only works within the latest version of Firefox where you can right click it, and it will show options and statistics, as well as turn green with a check mark inside.

I sent this info plus the attached screenshots to Kaspersky Tech Support, and all they keep asking me for are screenshots of the error message.

Am I imagining the problem? They cannot figure out the issue just by the screenshots. The problem has also been posted on the Kaspersky Forum in the past:

.

I tried the suggestions. They did not work. Is Kaspersky Tech Support declining?

Any suggestions? Appreciated.

In Firefox, I get the attached. As you can see, the Shield is not greyed out.

Btw, I am using KIS 2019, and I do not have Anti-Banner enabled as I have an Ad Blocker.

Google doesn't support those extensions and broke support for them months ago, Kaspersky Protection hasn't been working for months (on Chrome).
If true, it should be announced officially. Instead , Kaspersky Tech Support keeps asking me for screenshots. They don't know?

Hmmmm.... unless the extension changed, according to our own @Evjl's Rain's tests, that extension is not particularly effective.

It may be to your benefit to look at those tests and pick a more effective extension.

SandBlast looks like it might be great.

Somebody should sign up for the beta and let us all know how it goes...

In the meantime, I am trying NanoAdblock with NanoDefender in Chrome.I am assuming Kis2019 Web Protection will handle everything else.
