I mistyped; I was saying that I am on patch "b". Yes, I am disabling all modules and even quitting Kaspersky, but I receive this error "error writing the new values"; with 21.3 I used the trick and it worked successfully.So, You have the last patch

I received the update today as well and I feel that the new version in general has greatly improved performance over version 21.3

Not the 1st time, that occurs when K. just fixes issues reported via Support and other media and/or internal reported issues...
Suppose it's not released everywhere too so beta testing might not be worth it

Yeah what I meant is that 21.5 isn't a world release yet and only some countries have it. So opening beta testing for patches on that product could be pointless as the uptake may be low.
Makes more sense to internally test and then just release
