OSArmor is always a good companion to any setup, but personally I would just use Kaspersky Internet Security; it is enough and powerful at its own, it has everything to protect a machine.

Kaspersky doesnt play well with other security products (not saying that it is the case with OSA), so it is better to avoid redundancy.

As above comments, KIS is full suite and its enough to protect you and harlan probably can send you into right way

But if you have any performance issues, Kaspersky free(or free cloud av) paired with Cf, Osa, SH is probably lighter config than KIS and has equal protection

I have heard good things on this forum about OSA, and noticed a new version out.

I am using KIS 2019 and was wondering whether OSA would cover anything KIS missed, or is KIS sufficient enough?

KIS alone is probably fine. However IMO there is no reason not to add OSA. It doesn't add any weight to a system and provides - even at default settings, some basic protection that will stop things at the gate, like the fact it blocks writing to some folders that malware writes to. My son (that doesn't live at home) has avoided many infections at lan events/parties by having OSA regardless of what suite he is running.

So why not?

I would say: very well tweaked (Application Control + some changes in Manage Resources) in KIS/KTS would be enough, BUT... if You don't want to deal with KIS/KTS advanced settings and keep them in defaults -> NVT OSA would be a great companion and will not get issues as my experience until now :giggle:

So if I want to use KIS at default with OSA, you are saying there should be no issues, and a great combo?
