An interesting concept putting together a wide range of privacy tools for a bundled subscription, but the downside is that you'll have to get your friends and family onboard as well for you to use the chat functions. Also there isn't much information on the specifics of the chat, email and VPN encryption, so I have some doubts on how safe they'll actually be.

The only reason I use WhatsApp is because "everybody" else does, Signal for example is a great chat app, but if nobody else uses it I can't send myself messages. Interesting promotion though "we don't look at your junk" lol.
