Kaspersky antiransomeware uses KSN and system Watcher, it doesn't have the AV engine. Everyone can download it, not only for business
you can check out the video from AV-GURUS. It blocked everything, nothing was encrypted

Overall, I think Kaspersky is much better than Malwarebytes AR regarding the way it works and great signature based on KSN network

There may be better options like zemana (giveaway if you can get) and Winantiransome but they are paid products

edit: KSN is a reputation service, not signature as I said, wrong word :)
I also thing Kaspersky antiransomware can also be used as a reputation-based additional AV as it can detect not only ransomwares acording what I saw on the video

I'm not comparing the 2 seeing MBAR is a beta product.
I will say I agree with CMLew about the options.
I have a lifetime license for WAR, and its what I entrust my system to.
If it wasn't for CruelSis I wouldn't have known it existed so thanks Cruel Sis
for your videos they really do educate :p
