M$ never ceases to amaze. This is the 3rd time they have forced this install on some users. In this case, it did not matter what Update settings you have/had.

They forced it on my PCs too, but I uninstalled OS remediation service which force upgrades to latest version through Apps and Features. With that update installed, you get OS Remediation services in services.msc which can undo OOSP10 or similar utility applied tweaks like WU disabled etc... Even putting the services to disabled by user get reverted to OS default values.
