Mozilla has released a security update to address vulnerabilities in Thunderbird. A remote attacker could exploit some of these vulnerabilities to take control of an affected system.
NCCIC encourages users and administrators to review the Mozilla Security Advisory for Thunderbird 60 and apply the necessary update.

It is good that they have released security advisories for Thunderbird against hackers. For it will create a huge impact if there are no preventive measures. Vulnerabilities can be minor or critical depending on the situation that will occur on a particular versions of Mozilla products so users and administrators must review the Mozilla Security Advisory for Thunderbird and apply the necessary update.
