Note: At this moment, new version is only available for Firefox:
What's new in v2.0.1?
• Updated the extension to the latest web extension API, MV3. The extension must now be manually granted permission to perform its blocking.
• Expanded coverage of malicious JavaScript blocking.
• Removed possibility of the extension having compatibility issues with sites.
• Removed outdated information from site information popup.

For Chrome the version is still 1.18.1..........

I thought this MV3 starts off with Chrome?
This new Netcraft version is probably still in "approval phase" (to check carefully MV3 requirement...) but usually should be released soon even on Chrome web store.

Netcraft Extension version 2.1.1, furthermore available only for Firefox.
Release notes for 2.1.1
  • The extension icon will now grey out for unsupported URLs (e.g. localhost, file://) rather than indicating danger.
