2024.9 updated and running smoothly.
PS (fwiw) Emsi Business support recommended running Windows Firewall Control WFC binisoft / mbam with Emsisoft when we chatted last night.
@Divine_Barakah why "wow?"
Emsi is not saying to run Malwarebytes, but is recommending to run WFC (a Malwarebytes / Binisoft) app if user wants to see & have outbound firewall control, that WFC is compatible with Emsisoft.

I find it absurd. First, Emsisoft had its standalone firewall that they decided to kill. Then they said that WF is more than enough and they said that they hardened it using their own BB. Why did not they keep some sort of WF management? I just dont get it.

Now one has to use a 3rd part tool to view and control connections.

ok, I agree. As far as I know current Emsisoft & its BB do whatever with windows firewall "under the hood" so user does not directly see it. Perhaps to keep users from making decisions, ie, wrong decisions...? idk. To me, WFC seems like a solid addition for easier user control of outbound firewall for folks who want to see it, and glad that WFC is compatible with Emsi.
