Is Norton End-Point for the Home User? And does it offer better protection?
Also, how is the Ram Usage? Just wondering?

Endpoint protection are aimed for clients on a larger corporate network. However, some people use EPP or Enterprise SaaS on their Home PCs.

Norton Antivirus, Internet Security or N360, as they are better tuned for customers on a home network (ie. Home user).

No software can detect all the malware, it's down to the user as well to prevent such from happening. By default Norton, doesn't hold signatures for old malware. However, you can download those definition by turning OFF Smart Definitions. Although I do think even with Smart Definitions ON, the behaviour blocker (SONAR) would catch any threats.
