There's not long to wait for a new version of the Xbox One console, according to a leak courtesy of Amazon in the US. Microsoft looks to be gearing up to launch the Xbox One 2015 at E3 2015 so here's what we know about its release date, price and specs. See also: Xbox One vs PS4 comparison.

The Xbox One continues to battle Sony's PS4 in the console market but Microsoft is about to launch a new model with an upgraded spec and a new controller. A listed was spotted on Amazon by IGN which has since been removed but not fast enough for the information to be gone. New Xbox One 2015: Release date and price
Amazon's listing for the new Xbox One touted a release date of 15 June which is the same day of Microsoft's E3 2015 press conference/media briefing. A coincidence we think not. The firm's tag line on xbox.com is 'See the greatest games lineup in Xbox history' but it looks like we'll be getting more than just software.

The now removed listing quoted a price of $400 (£262 converted) for the new Xbox One 2015 and could mean another price cut for the existing model making it more affordable. We'll have to wait for the UK price but we expect Microsoft to introduce it at around £300.

New Xbox One 2015: Specs and new features
For your hard earned $400, it looks like the new Xbox One 2015 will feature a 1TB hard drive giving you plenty of storage space for games, media and videos of your awesome in-game skills. That's twice the size of the current model and Microsoft is rumoured to be improving the PVR features of the console.

The upgraded console will also come with a copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft's new Xbox One controller which is slightly redesigned. Microsoft showed it off on a support page explaining that the 3.5mm headphone jack is "only available on controllers released after June 2015".

That's all we know currently but stay tuned for more details since E3 2015 is just around the corner. Let us know what you'd like to see from the new Xbox One in the comments below.
