Today Symantec released the public betas of the latest versions of the award-winning Norton 360, Norton Internet Security and Norton AntiVirus products. Available for free download from the Norton beta website, this pre-release software is designed for compatibility with the upcoming release of Windows 8.1, and to improve on the industry’s best protection and performance.

With the latest betas, Norton continues to deliver best-of-breed technologies to keep consumers protected from today’s complex and evolving online threats. The betas are engineered for outstanding protection, performance and the best possible user experience. Key improvements include:

Please remember that the Public Beta builds are Pre-Release Beta builds. Please do not install these products on Production Systems. While we do not anticipate critical failures, Pre-Release Beta Builds MAY malfunction. If you do install on a computer with sensitive information, be sure to make a complete backup of all your important files to prevent the possibility of data-loss. It is highly recommended that you perform a full backup of your computer before installing beta products and that you revert to this backup before installing new builds.

New Beta Build: 21.0.0.67 is Now Available! (July 10th 2013)
To access the new build, simply run LiveUpdate from your Norton Beta Product. You will see a few updates download and apply. Keep running LiveUpdate until it asks you to apply the patch to the updated build. Once you apply the patch, you will be running the new build.
