I have a question about this.

I've already upgraded to Windows 10 back in 2015 (with my Windows 8 key). But what if I need to reinstall/format my system completely? I usually installed Windows 8 and upgraded to Windows 10 again (to make a clean installing). Will that still be possible?

My recommendation? Image your HDD ASAP.

If you need reinstall/restore your Windows10 installation, you can do so in Restore Options.

That way,you have 2 options:Your current Win10 setup and the ability to start anew with a clean slate,in case of a HDD crash.
