Operating System
Windows 8
Infection date and initial symptoms
First noticed PowerShell problems on 12/30/14 but other problems like computer seemingly frozen for 3-4 minutes has been ongoing for about a month. Also noticed a high number of occasions when I get "xxx.xxx.com is not responding" "recover webpage"
Current issues and symptoms
PowerShell error windows opening up almost continuously.
Security settings suddenly not appropriate for downloading items previously downloaded
CPU very sluggish with input lag and running close to 100% unless disconnected from the internet
Odd program failures here and there that previously worked like webcam works intermittently
Keystrokes missed while typing normally, requiring repeated keystrokes for letter to appear
high number of occasions when I get "xxx.xxx.com is not responding" "recover webpage"
Steps taken in order to remove the infection
Ran Norton Power Erase - no problems found
Ran TDSSKiller - no problems found
Ran FRST
Rebooted computer several times

Could not find directions and download links to AdwCleaner or aswMBR on the page that is supposed to have them. However, there were directions and download links for FRST logs and they are included here.

Also including file output from TDSSKiller (embedding inline as too large for 'Upload a File" function:
Could not find directions and download links to AdwCleaner or aswMBR on the page that is supposed to have them. However, there were directions and download links for FRST logs and they are included here.
#2:
ran Malwarebytes as directed and included the output here. There is no 'system log' as you requested but I've included the 'protection log".
ran FRST as directed and included the output here.
