Hi Everyone.
I am very curious to know if 360 IS is equal to Emsisoft Antimalware because:
1) BOTH uses Bitdefender engine.
2) BOTH have behavior blocker
3) BOTH uses their own engine
4) BOTH uses cloud (360) and community (Emsisoft) alerts.
5) BOTH have excellent detection rate
I know it is unfair to test free vs paid antivirus products, but these two seems to be very similar.
So it will be much appreciated if someone make a comparison test between these 2 software.
I am really curious to see the result........

Thank you all in advance!!!! ;)
Mike

If u r a gamer, a sensible user about safe computing & safe browsing habit, don't want a slow boot time, & want light AV then go for qihoo. btw, qihoo don't have any url protection, but it has phishing attack protection but not so strong so i suggest u to use k9 web protection with it, it won't slow ur web browsing, or u can try Avira browser safety with it.But remember the updates for bitdefedner & avira engine in qihoo always get delay. so choose wut u want, broo :)

I am not a gamer, and i am careful when i browse. All i ask is if someone can test both programs with same links/malware pack to see the results.......just for curiosity

why don't u look around virus exchange section? they all r testing same malware samples with different AV & post their results but most of them don't test left over files. what i saw in malware sample test that none of them give 100% detection rate, sometimes qihoo gets high result & sometimes emsisoft gets higher compare to qihoo & sometimes other AV gets better detection/removal rate then both of them. Both AV which u mentioned give good detection & have capabilities to remove malware. Emsisoft owns a decent Behavior blocker compare to Qihoo & it's bitdefender engine gets update faster compare to qihoo bitdefender engine, that's all.

For ur curiosity here is a video where one-demand scan done by 4 antivirus for same malware samples ( note, qihoo not included in it )

I already checked virus exchange section and this makes me more confused. I checked 10 malware pack posts and the results bot both programs were similar (in some cases qihoo detected more). So i am very confused. A comparison test like ''manzai'' or ''pc security'' are doing, will give me ( and probably to many other people) a good answer......

U can contact Manzai, he will make a video for u ^^ but remember detection rate never ever stable of any AV in any malware test & regarding to malware removal/realtime protection both are almost equal :)

In Real-Time Protection - Emsisoft is slightly better as compared to Qihoo because of awesome Behavior Blocker & realtime Cloud Analysis.

how can u sure 100%? :D i also tried qihoo & it realtime protection blocked almost every malware which are added in it database.
I also tested Emsisoft & it's awesome BB get penetrated by some left over malware samples http://malwaretips.com/threads/2014-06-02-12.27824/ & BB only needed when a reckless users download crap things from internet Or share infected USB driver/network drive. Since he maintained a good browsing habit i don't think he'll download any suspicious stuff or lurk around download section of untrusted or unknown source. it's good to scan with
VirusTotal Windows Uploader if u r not sure what u downloaded is infected with malware or not, better then decide to allow or block in BB where newbie always struggle . thnx :D

Qihoo detection rate is really better than Emsisoft.
Even I have tested Emsisoft & Qihoo, I find Emsisoft better.
I am Emsisoft Fan but still I found Emsisoft Zero-Day protection to be the best from all the av's i have used.
