Quihu 360 TS & TSE Ram Spike When Downloading Virus Definitions

I have Win7 & have noticed When Quihu downloads virus definitions I get a Ram Spike for about 5 minutes before the PC settles down to normal Ram activity. I have 3 GB Ram installed. Is this normal.? Thanks Marg

It is quite normal because definitions are downloaded and installed at the same time and this causes an intensive RAM activity.

Installation of signatures is one should spike the RAM usage since it uses the resources to complete the operation which happen in any programs, downloading of signatures may not cause any impact at all but the internet connection instead.

Guess the problem is already solved.
