Can you share the reasoning behind this?
It's silly. I sometimes fear someone can use my fingerprints to unlock my phone while I am sleeping, or, God forbid, that the LE can force me to unlock my phone with my fingerprint and turn it off but then turn it on again after I get tired of inputting 16-digit PIN on each unlock.😄

No! You're not being silly or stupid but smart. It's really good practice to think about potential threats and then think about what your adversaries could/would do. It is a logical step to consider the threat that someone could unlock your phone while your unconscious or asleep.
