I assume that most of our forum members do not keep state secrets on their computers, do not engage in illegal trafficking, and are not planning a major terrorist attack any time soon.
So what are you guys all worried about?

Are you really more concerned that foreign or domestic governments might have access to the uninteresting heap of data on your PC or are you concerned about all that data being rendered worthless by ransomware or your accounts being hijacked because of some keylogger?
If you're not an interesting target for governments then it makes absolute no sense to be switching away from Kaspersky because - and listen carefully here - all AV vendors are just as vulnerable to the exact same type of attacks from state actors.
