Hi I been mostly a lurker on here. I decided to post my config to see if any improvements can be made. I prefer a real light configuration setup that doesn't compromise too much on security. The main use for my PC is gaming. Thanks.

@Shiz:
  • Probably You don't need AppCheck A-R if Yoy have Avast in Hardened Mode Aggressive.
  • Consider also to run manual backups of important data to external devices.
  • As for "Virus and Malware Removal Tools", You may add: ZAM Free, MalWareBytes Free, Norton Power Eraser, and HitManPro Free.
Please kindly reflect Your changes editing Your config, and announcing them here, hanks for sharing :giggle:

3/4 layers are covered.
  • Backup: none
  • Realtime & other: Avast
  • Web browser: uBo
  • Firewall: WFP

My advice:
  • Manually backup important files you want protected to a USB or hard drive, if you don't prefer software solutions.
  • State the software which you're using for Windows Firewall

Fantastic setup otherwise with Avast and Syshardener!

Updated to reflect which firewall I'm using. I'll try to see if I can tweak Macrium to do other folders too. Not the large game folders.
