Try to guess, what will happen when you adding more ram until you reached 24 gig :)

You can have up to 32 GB as far as I know because a friend had a machine that had that.

Very nice, 7.9 on all Windows Experience Index?
Yes, except CPU which is 7.7. I guess 4.2GHZ isnt enough for windows ;).

Nope windows needs the cpu to be at 5.6Ghz to get the 7.9 rating, wich without massive watercooling with liquid nitrogen for subzero temps, its near impossible to achieve Honestly

Even then Your stuff would need to be heavily insulated because there would be condensation. And yes, plastic parts would become brittle when exposed to sub-zero temperatures.

When they do record-breaking overclocks they insulate a metal tube that sits on top of the CPU block and fill it with the nitrogen.

This is the setup I am running:

Computer
Code:
CPU: Intel i7 930 @ 4.2ghz
Motherboard:	Asus Rampage 3 Extreme
GPU: 2x Zotac GTX 570 in SLI
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1200W
RAM: Corsair Dominator CL8-8-8-24 12GB @1.60v
Case: Corsair Obsidian 800D
Harddrives: Intel X25-M G2 160GB
2x Western Digital Caviar Green 1TB
				Seagate Barracuda LP Green 2TB

Cooling
Code:
CPU: EK Supreme HF Full Nickel
GPU: 2x EK FC-580 Nickel blocks
				2x EK 580 Backplate (black)
Motherboard:	EK-FB RE3 Nickel
Pump: MCP350 with EK X-TOP
Reservoir: EK Spinbay
Radiators: 2x XSPC RX360
Fans: 6x Scythe GT AP15 (1850rpm)
Fan controller: mCubed bigNG (automatic fan controller)

Sound system
Code:
Satellites: XTZ 93.21 (100w max)
Subwoofer: XTZ 12.16 (12" subwoofer, max 500w)
Receiver: Onkyo TX-SR605

Peripherals
Code:
Monitors: HP LP2475w
				 HP L1950
Keybaord: Logitech G510
Mouse: Logitech G500

Total cost
Too much

Bottom line
Maxes out any game on the market, runs anything at any time with no problem. Is dead silent, even during load. It is great for movies too, great sound, great monitor and its silent. Is perfect for pretty much everything.

For those who care, both GPU's max out at around 40C during load (overclocked ofc).
CPU maxes out at mid 60's during load.
Motherboard is always cool so I don't keep it monitored. It was somewhere around 30-40C on the NB during max load.

Took these images for a friend a while back: http://imgur.com/QgfcH,Qo0kf,DoUj0

Enjoy!

Well-configured PC. Haswell will soon come to you have time to save for a new computer. new motherboard, cpu(haswell cpu ^^), new ram (maybe ddr4) and new motherboard.

don't won't to be a buzzkill, but how did you spend $6k on this system? You could build a liquid cooled X79 with 64gb of ram, tri-sli gtx 580 and an array of ssd's for that amount. Even when X58 was the new kid on the block back when 1366 came out this wouldn't have costed that amount?

Seems like you:
  • Do not know the proper price of a proper sound system
  • Have not ever had a decent monitor (mine was 800 usd)
  • Do not know I live in Sweden.

*It's hard to price out an outdated parts list
*I'm running dual HP LP3065, so I think I know a little something about monitors
*You are absolutely correct on that point, I was unaware you lived in Sweden
*I'm a big fan of looptroop rockers and adam tensta
