I use Windows Defender Antivirus with NVT SysHardener, never had a single real malware issue. You have web browsers with Google SafeBrowsing that provide layered protection against malicious downloads, unsafe and phishing sites. There are Adblockers that block Adverts, Trackers and Miners, or there's extra security browser extensions such Malwarebytes, Emsisoft and Microsoft for Chrome/Firefox.
