I'm having trouble with a hollowed svchost.exe and it seems related to newcityinworld.ru

Like most of the other posts it creates 2 processes. Both, void in name. Taking up +55% CPU on the first and 0.5% on the second. The strange thing about this is they didn't appear until after I removed the infected chrome extension. I've tried removing it several times to no avail and could really use some help...

Operating System
Windows 10
Are you using a 32-bit or 64-bit operating system?
64-bit (x64)
Infection date and initial symptoms
No idea when exactly this happened but it has been about a month. Started with a chrome extension that would redirect to newcityinworld.ru Adware. There were also 2 blank processes that would show up and take from 25-85% CPU. The one that barely used the CPU seemed to be connecting to a proxy @ 5.149.254.169 port 2220
Current issues and symptoms
Graphics malfunctioning (HDMI would stop working if using too much CPU or Memory), Crashes Discord, League, MC, FL-Studio, and Chrome periodically. Sometimes also causing the Graphics malfunction mentioned above in tandem with the crashes..
Steps taken in order to remove the infection
ZAM, Malwarebytes (Wouldn't start again after the scan), AdwCleaner (Didn't find anything), AswMBR (Didn't find anything), eSet Online Scanner (Didn't find anything), rKill (Unsuccessful/Crashed)
Logs added to Help Request
FRST.txt, Addition.txt

Hello,

Fix with Farbar Recovery Scan Tool

This fix was created for this user for use on that particular machine.

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    icon and select
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finishes FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.

You've got only 4GB of RAM memory. That isn't enough for modern Operating Systems.
I figured out the problem... 2 of my ram chips have corroded pins... I had 8GB... Gonna be installing some new ram soon but I wanted to thank you for fixing my problem. You have got to be one of the best on here! Seriously my dude, You're awesome!
