Hello forum!!
I have these problems!
Problem 1: Upgraded to windows 10 and created a system restore soon after just to make sure it works but when wanting to restore it it shows error saying it could not complete restore.

Problem 2:Two Mcafee processes show in taskmanager that I am unable to stop or uninstall. Not idea where they came from, back on windows 8.1 these processes were not there. I don't even have any mcafee software left (Not after uninstalling it months ago).
-Mfevtps.exe (McAfee Validation Trust Protection Service)
-Mfefire.exe (McAfee Firewall Core Service)

Any ideas?

You can boot in safe mode, and then you should be able to unistall these from add/remove in control panel. If they are not shown in there, you can just go to file location and delete both. McAfee software is bundled into many installers all around the internet, so you may have installed something and didn't even notice it came with some sort of McAfee software. If you can't uninstall them or delete them on a safe boot, you should consider using processhacker to try killing them.

Make sure to run a full scan with MalwareBytes Anti-Malware and hitman pro. Both scans should be done on a safe boot session of windows. You can safe boot with network enabled.

1) : Well as others said, booting on Safe Mode for conducting system restore is a good idea to avoid any colliding processes that affects the operation. (For Windows 10 tap Shift key many times in order to boot on advance startup)

2) : What is your antivirus way back on Windows 8.1? Try to use a third party program (Revo Uninstaller, Geek Uninstaller or others) if the McAfee removal utility may not work.
