It seems i am seeing a repeat of movie streaming. Starting with 1-2 services and then those services splitting content and users returning to torrents.

I'll stick with Spotify. The student plan is only $4.99 a month and it also includes Hulu and Showtime for free.

I see no reason to switch from spotify. And since youtube music is available in my country I use that a lot too.

You get what you pay-for. Tidal Hi-Fi offers up-to 1.4 Mbps whereas Spotify Premium offers up-to 320 Kbps. You can test this by playing a music CD on your car sterero, then comparing it to the music-streaming service. Spotify won't have the definition.
