[QUOTE="roger_m, post: 928548, member: 31436"] I had no trouble getting a refund for Scanguard, four years ago, when it was a very new product. For some context, TotalAV is also published as ScanGuard and PC Protect. While I believed it was a terrible product, I wanted to try the full version, which I bought cheaply. The real-time protection was not working properly, so I contacted support and asked for and was issued a refund. They now accept PayPal payments, which in theory should make it easy to get refunds, if the publisher refuses to. But I had a bad experience with PayPal recently, where it took a fair bit of persistence to get a refund when a seller scammed me. If not for my persistence, the scammer would have kept the money.
