I had some adware.qvod that i cleaned manually through regedit. after that i scanned my computer with malwarebytes if there was anything left and there is Trojan.Agent.E.Generic. It is always stuck in hosts and no matter what i do after reebot it comes back. how to remove it? i have frst.txt and addition.txt. Also is this virus very harmful?

FRST.gif
Fix with Farbar Recovery Scan Tool

This fix was created for this user for use on that particular machine.

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finishes FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.

How is the situation after this fix?

i thought i would keep you updated about something. i did some things and now there is a file called hosts.20180815-235836.backup in C:\WINDOWS and C:\Users\MyPcName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent . it still contains the same things the original hosts file with
Trojan.Agent.E.Generic contained but malwarebytes doesnt recognize it as a threat. i thought it was bizarre and wanted to share. i also want to show you the backup hosts. i cant attach them for some reason i think its because they are not in file form. ill just copy paste it. C:\WINDOWS one is 444KB and the other one is 1KB but they both contain the same thing. let me copy paste it. thank you for your time. (it said the message was too long, shorten it so i couldnt post it it the but the main idea is there. bunch of sites with 127.0.0.1 in front.)
