U.S. Police Routinely Abuse Data

This is what most people don't get when it comes to data privacy -- governmental agencies - or more specifically their employees - cannot be trusted.

So with the forceful campaigns by government agencies that encroach upon users' privacy -- it is just a matter of time before big-time, wide-spread abuse and surveillance of their own citizens becomes routine practice. In many respects, its already happening... these campaigns have set the framework for it to become more pervasive. Sooner or later, it will extend to all things IT...

Very interesting story, too bad more didn't send better info, some didn't reply at all.
Makes ya wonder how widespread this is, I'm sure that story is just the tip of the
ice burg, a small sampling.
