Anyone know how to uninstall the trial version of Norton on Windows 8?
Or, baring that - where to get a cheap key for Norton?
Thanks.

Also you can try appremover- http://www.appremover.com/
which will try to fully remove the program.

OK, thanks! Norton removal tool did it. Will put that and appremover in my tool kit. This is a new Windows 8 laptop that came with Norton pre-installed.

Like Mclovin mentions, I wouldn't recommended using Revo or other 3rd-party uninstallers.

Only use the dedicated Removal tools are best, in my opinion.

Remember to create a Recovery Drive, as described here:

From my experience using third-party uninstall tools like Revo, IObit, etc. to uninstall security products is never recommended since they tend to cause more problems. Also use the dedicated removal tool from the security software vendor. If that don't work, then you will have to manually remove boot drivers with Process Hacker.

Thanks.:D
